The votes have been counted and it is clear our hard work has paid off! We received over 40% of the vote and came in first place in a crowded race for Justice of the Peace, Precinct 1, Place 2. We are proud of the campaign we ran and are eager to continue to work!

Sonia Lopez Launches Campaign for Justice of the Peace Precinct 1, Place 2

 

Sonia Lopez, community advocate and Labor Attorney, announced that she filed and will campaign for Justice of The Peace Precinct 1, Place 2, which encompasses neighborhoods from Meyerland to Aldine and from Kashmere Gardens to Spring Branch. 

 

“I am ready to serve the community in which I was raised as their next Justice of the Peace,” said Sonia Lopez. “As a lifelong Houstonian and practicing attorney, I am well credentialed and experienced to fulfill the responsibilities and duties of Justice of the Peace. I am grateful to have earned the endorsement and support from so many of this area’s elected officials and community leaders, which is an important vote of confidence for my track record of public service and for our campaign. I look forward to continuing to speak with voters and build the momentum needed to win!”
